'bring me the head' is not unlike fellow city-dwellers muscles of joy - a no-wave rhythm juggernaut that evokes y-pants and bow wow wow simultaneously, revelling in a scree that is as much fun as it is abandonment. 'cakewalk' is a flip in every sense of the word - a beautiful exercise in melodic restraint, gothic strains of strawberry switchblade and 80s hinterland coming as a sweet, dark undercurrent to the propulsive a side.
