The Jesus Lizard are back with 'Rack', their first album since 1998. The album features 11 tracks of upbeat guitar rock the likes of which you haven't heard since... since The Jesus Lizard last took over a stage in your town. The Jesus Lizard - singer David Yow, guitarist Duane Denison, bassist David Wm. Sims and drummer Mac McNeilly - are back with an album brimming with the kind of craziness needed to conquer today's AOR mediocrity and piss-perfect pop nonsense alike.

Since forming in Chicago in 1987, The Jesus Lizard have delighted listeners around the world. Sims and McNeilly's impeccable, rocket-like rhythm section was the perfect base for Denison's snappy yet clean riffing and Yow's moody vocals, which manifested as a panicked citizen, escapee from reality or injured marine mammal. The debut album was followed by six more studio albums, two live recordings and two singles and EPs.

On 'Rack', The Jesus Lizard return reformed, refreshed and full of vigor. No tepid, bland tracks that show how they've 'matured' as songwriters. No silly forays into unnecessary genre exercises.
