WET SOCKS’ debut full-length Drips is a blistering psychedelic nest of fuzz and surf beats woven with lyrical melodies and infectious hooks. It’s hard to believe these songs are performed by a duo, but this Savannah-based pair offer all the snarl and thump of a band twice their size. Produced by PHILLIP COPE (Kylesa, Baroness, Black Tusk) at Jam Room Studio, their rowdy brand of garage rock’n’roll comes through dirty and raw with killer guitar and drum tones for a true lo-fi garage sound that doesn’t sacrifice fidelity.
